September 1 - Having been acquired by MPI Offshore earlier this year, the wind turbine installation vessel MPI Enterprise has completed its first charter under new ownership, which involved preparatory works on E.ON's Amrumbank West offshore wind farm.
The wind turbines will now be installed by another of MPI Offshore's wind turbine installation vessels, MPI Adventure.
The Amrumbank West farm is situated approximately 35 km north of Helgoland and 37 km west of Amrum in the North Sea. When fully operational later this year, the farm will have an annual capacity of 288 MW.
