March 29 - Enerpac has unveiled its EVOB-System, which it says combines high-pressure hydraulics with a PLC system to monitor and control the precise movement and positioning of heavy loads.
All movements are managed from a central control interface that displays live operation with real-time status updates for each lifting position, explained Enerpac.
The new addition to its EVO-Series of synchronous lifting systems can be used with standard 700 bar single or double acting cylinders, and is offered with hydraulic power units. The system also offers manual and automatic control modes; up to 8 jacking points can be controlled with one hydraulic power unit.
"The EVOB-System allows one device to control the entire lifting operation, providing status updates at every point of the process, without the need for manual monitoring," said Peter Crisci, global business development leader at Enerpac.
