August 24 - UK all-cargo airline CargoLogicAir (CLA) has signed an agreement with Volga-Dnepr Gulf to perform C-check maintenance on its Boeing 747-400 freighter.
The Stansted based airline, which is part of the Volga-Dnepr Group, has been performing charter services and servicing an ACMI (aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance) contract since being awarded its air operator certificate by the UK Civil Aviation Authority at the start of 2016.
The scope of works agreed with Volga-Dnepr Gulf includes airworthiness directive/service bulletin (AD/SB) accomplishment, modifications and out-of-phase (OOP) tasks.
CLA recently took delivery of its first B747-8 freighter and has stated its intention to build a fleet of five 747-8F aircraft within five years.
