The Netherland-based ZHD Stevedores has ordered two eco-efficient Konecranes Gottwald Model 6 mobile harbour cranes, due to be delivered in February 2021.
The G HMK 6407 B variant in a four-rope grab configuration has a maximum lifting capacity of 100 tons (90.7 tonnes). Konecranes said the crane is capable of handling steel coils, breakbulk, and containers.
ZHD Stevedores said it will commission the cranes by March 2021 for its operations in Dordrecht and Moerdijk in the Netherlands.
The order – which was placed in July 2020 – is part of ZHD Stevedores’ plan to further improve its services and comply with future environmental requirements.
