WWN Guindastes has expanded its fleet with a 500-tonne lift capacity LTM 1300-6.3 crane from Liebherr.

The eight-axle LTM 1500-8.1 will be used on assignments that call for a long reach and high load capacities, such as the dismantling of cranes and the installation of prefabricated components.

WWN Guindastes already has one LTM 1500-8.1 in its fleet. “[It] is a versatile and well-equipped crane which, thanks to its dimensions, is ideal for use in urban areas,” said Leonardo Navarro, engineer at WWN Guindastes. “Since we already have an LTM 1500-8.1 in our fleet, we are already very familiar with the machine’s functionality and performance.”

He said the crane is particularly versatile, thanks to 50 m and 84 m telescopic boom options plus the ability to move the crane when it is erected. “These characteristics not only optimise our operations, but also allow us to make flexible adjustments to our work processes,” Navarro added.
