Wire and synthetic rope specialist WireCo has introduced Boomfit, a steel rope designed specifically for use as an adjustment rope in telescopic cranes, crawler cranes, and large tower cranes.
Part of WireCo’s Casar range, Boomfit has been engineered with tough working conditions in mind. The company suggests that Boomfit is both a reliable and cost-effective option on the market, with its strength allowing for multi-layer spooling and providing outstanding durability.
Boomfit has a plastic-coated steel care, utilising Casar’s Plast rope technology. This reduces wear and tear while sustaining optimal performance.
“With Boomfit, we are delivering a robust and cost-effective solution that meets the high expectations of crane operators worldwide,” said David Rowatt, senior vice president, global steel engineering at WireCo. “Its advanced design and superior performance make it the perfect fit for heavy-duty lifting operations.”
HLPFI reported last week that WireCo unveiled its Casar Lazerlift wire rope at bauma 2025.
