India-based project logistics and freight forwarding company Total Movements has updated its fleet with SPMTs from Goldhofer.
It comes after Total Movements signed a deal in 2022 with Goldhofer for 24 of its SPMTs, boasting a total handling capacity of 2,000 tonnes.
This advanced equipment will allow the company to handle heavy and oversized cargo with accuracy and flexibility, with operators able to customise transport configurations according to the project at hand.
The company recently used the SPMTs to move a 1,300-tonne reactor as part of Numaligarah refinery project in India.
HLPFI reported in July 2024 that Total Movements had transported five condensers for an O&G project in Saudi Arabia.
