North American Terex crane distributor, Empire Crane, has placed an order for several Demag all-terrain cranes.
In addition to seven AC 45 City cranes, Empire Crane's order comprises a 100-tonne capacity four-axle Demag AC 100-4L; a 130-tonne capacity five-axle AC 130-5; two 160-tonne capacity AC 160-5; and two 250-tonne capacity AC 250-5 all terrain cranes.
According to Terex, an uptick in the construction industry, and customers' interest in crane models that are compact in size and easy to transport, is helping drive Demag sales in the northeast of the USA.
The company has also ordered a 500-tonne capacity AC 500-8 all-terrain crane for the Massachusetts-based heavy haulage contractor Hallamore Corporation.
