Lifting equipment manufacturer Tadano has taken orders for its CC 78.1250-1, the latest addition to its lattice boom crawler crane offering, as well as a separate order for its CC 38.650-1. Both purchases were made at bauma 2025 in Munich, Germany.

North American crane rental company Maxim Crane Works placed an order for the first Tadano CC 78.1250-1 at bauma 2025. The 1,250-tonne capacity lattice boom crawler crane is the successor to the CC 68.1250-1, its lifting performance, transportability, and operational efficiency having been enhanced.

Launched earlier this month, the CC 78.1250-1 has a maximum hook height of 224.5 m. It has been developed to serve industries such as wind energy, infrastructure, and industrial projects. “The specifications of the CC 78.1250-1, including its exceptional lifting capacity and transport efficiency, made it an easy choice for our fleet. We can’t wait to have this crane available to work on critical projects,” said Paul McDonnell, ceo of Maxim Crane Works.

Meanwhile, Peru-based heavy lifting solutions provider Grúas y Transportes San Lorenzo (GTSL) acquired a Tadano CC 38.650-1 at bauma 2025. With a lifting capacity of 650 tonnes, the crawler crane is well-suited to large-scale infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects.

“We are excited to integrate the CC 38.650-1 into our fleet,” said Roberto Cabanillas, ceo at GTSL. “This investment not only enhances our lifting capabilities but also reinforces our dedication to offering top-tier services to our clients across various industries. Tadano’s reputation for quality and innovation made this an easy decision for us.”

Last week, HLPFI reported that Osprey had added a Tadano CC 38.650-1 crawler to its fleet.
