October 15 - Trier, Germany based Steil Kranarbeiten recently invested in two new telescopic mobile cranes from Liebherr.
The addition of the 500-tonne capacity LTM 1500-8.1 and LTM 1060-3.1 cranes to its fleet will enhance its capabilities in the wind power industry, says the company.
Birgit Steil, managing director of Steil Kranarbeiten, said in the long term the LTM 1500-8.1 would replace an older model from the company's existing fleet. Steil added that the LTM 1060-3.1 would be used for lower weight, regional hoisting work.
