Impact monitoring equipment manufacturer, SpotSee, can now sell its ShockLog Cellular system in the USA, having been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
In order to be manufactured, marketed or imported into the USA, radio-frequency devices need to be tested against the standards set by the FCC. The certification stipulates that any electromagnetic interference from a device is under the appropriate limits to ensure devices can operate effectively without causing harmful interference.
“Having our US certification has allowed us to build a local and sturdy foundation as we continue to expand globally,” said Angela Kerr, vice president, product portfolio, SpotSee. “Our goal is to provide our customers, regardless of location, with reliable products that meet the highest standards.”
ShockLog Cellular can be used as a stand-alone device, or can be connected to monitor. The device tracks humidity, impact, tilt and roll and temperature conditions.
