August 6 - Seaway Heavy Lifting's crane vessel Oleg Strashnov has set a new heavy lift record for the company with the installation of a 4,700-tonne process unit (PU) topside for GDF SUEZ E&P UK.
The PU topside is part of the Cygnus field in the North Sea, which consists of four platforms: the Alpha Wellhead platform, PU platform, Quarters Unit platform and Bravo Wellhead platform.
Last year Seaway Heavy Lifting's crane vessel Stanislav Yudin installed the Alpha Wellhead platform, PU jacket, Quarters Unit jacket and subsea structures at the North Sea field.
