May 4 - Wisconsin-based crane manufacturer Shuttlelift has launched a series of cranes, the SB Series, for on-site material handling.
The rubber-tyred gantry crane has been designed to offer plant managers "versatility, efficiency, safety, long-term value - all directly impacting a business's bottom line," says the company.
SB Series cranes can manage loads from 30 to 100 tonnes, suitable for single-point picks such as nacelle hubs, prison cells and septic tanks as well as smaller heavy lift objects. The series has wireless remote control as standard, allowing the operator to stay at a distance from the load and control the machine while visually inspecting its outside.
