October 23 - Oil and gas services firm Sapura Energy has ended its Asia-Pacific-focused joint venture with London, UK-based engineering company Subsea 7.
As part of the termination agreement, Sapura Energy, headquartered in Selangor, Malaysia, has taken full control of the heavy lift vessel Sapura 3000.
In a statement, Sapura said having control of the vessel has strengthened its position to bid for heavy lift, pipelay and decommissioning work for shallow and deepwater projects globally.
