Netherlands-based Q3 Heavy Lift has received a used Grove GMK5150L all-terrain crane from Manitowoc.
Despite being used and manufactured in 2019, a series of updates were made to the crane. Having been stored at Manitowoc’s Breda facility, the crane was fully road-tested and licensed for the Netherlands, whilst refresh work, including mounting a second oil cooler for the hydraulic system superstructure, was carried out.
Along with installing a 24-tonne trailer hitch and adding 10 new Michelin X-crane tyres, the crane received a full paint job in Q3 Heavy Lift’s colours.
The GMK5150L – itself weighing 150 tonnes – can lift up to 11.8 tonnes at its full 60 m boom length and boasts enhanced accessibility because of its counterweight of up to 10.2 tonnes within a 12 tonne per axle configuration.
