Denmark’s Port Esbjerg has added a Liebherr LHM 600 mobile harbour crane to its fleet.
The LHM 600 has a lifting capacity of 208 tonnes. With this latest unit, which is already in operation, Port Esbjerg has six LHM mobile harbour cranes in service, including two of the larger LHM 800 units that have a lift capacity of 308 tonnes.
Port Esbjerg highlighted the twin-lift capability of its crane fleet. Its two LHM 800s can lift over 600 tonnes in tandem, for instance. “This remarkable crane capacity positions the port as a leader in handling modular cargo and project goods,” the port explained. “Whether it’s battling high winds or adapting to diverse weather conditions, the mobile cranes demonstrate remarkable flexibility under the skilled guidance of experienced crane operators.”
