Heavy lift and transport equipment solutions provider NXGEN has expanded its fleet with an additional 100 axle lines of SPMTs from TII Scheuerle.
The order, which was signed at bauma 2025, includes four and six-axle line variants, along with power pack units (PPU). A split delivery schedule means that the first phase will be delivered into NXGEN’s existing fleet as quickly as possible.
“Our focus is to provide customers with a flexible solution and we’re proud to offer four, five and six-axle line modules, with Z180 and Z390 power packs,” said Russ Jones, director at NXGEN. “Our axles are available on a hire only basis or part of a fully operated service with experienced SPMT engineers, providing our customers with complete flexibility to access the services required for each individual project.”
TII Scheuerle will deliver the first axle lines in July 2025, and these will be available imminently to NXGEN’s client base.
In December 2024, HLPFI reported that NXGEN and UTC Overseas used a three-file SPMT setup to deliver transformers to the Baltic Power offshore wind farm in Poland.
