MyCrane has launched its marketplace to facilitate the international sale and purchase of lifting equipment, building upon the company’s crane rental platform.
MyCrane’s crane rental platform has seen particular interest from buying markets such as India and the Middle East, with more than 1,500 registered crane rental companies offering more than 12,000 cranes.
Users can buy and sell new and used lifting equipment on the platform’s marketplace. Fees are paid following a sale agreement; there are no subscription fees for the platform.
Lifting equipment on the marketplace – which was officially launched at bauma China 2024 – includes mobile, crawler, tower and specialty cranes, as well as aerial work platforms and other equipment.
“We now want to democratise the equipment sales process, by supporting fast, global trading and providing access to a wide range of keenly priced equipment,” said Andrei Geikalo, MyCrane founder and ceo. “The goal is to streamline the buying process, increase transparency and choice, and create a robust trading platform for the benefit of the entire industry.”
The MyCrane marketplace offers provision of verified crane documentation, the choice to filter lifting equipment by age and condition, and the ability to attain inspection reports.
As part of its services, MyCrane also offers logistics and transportation services regardless of the stage that a project is at, along with insurance and leasing to fund a purchase.
