MSG Krandienst has taken delivery of a 450-tonne capacity LTM 1450-8.1 mobile crane from Liebherr.
The crane features a telescopic boom measuring 85 m, and has a maximum hoist height of 131 m.
Björn Jatz, MSG Krandienst’s managing director, said: “The fast set-up time of the LTM 1450-8.1 beats anything else in the eight-axle segment as it is the only crane that can be driven on public roads without having to remove crane components such as the outriggers.”
MSG’s LTM 1450-8.1 will be used primarily for plant construction, port handling work, as well as erecting construction cranes and wind turbines.
In addition to crane rental services, Baden-based MSG specialises in heavy haulage and international project logistics.
