January 8 - The Manitowoc Company has reshuffled it managerial team, as part of its long-term succession plan.
Eric Etchart, who has served as president of Manitowoc Cranes for almost eight years, will move to a new role as senior vice president, business development of The Manitowoc Company, effective immediately.
Larry Weyers will succeed Etchart as president of Manitowoc Cranes, having previously served as global executive vice president for Manitowoc Cranes.
Mark Beffel, vice president, operational excellence at Manitowoc Corporation, has also confirmed that he will retire on February 2, 2015. Josef Matosevic will assume the vacant role and will coordinate the company's manufacturing, quality, and safety initiatives.
