Manitowoc has launched its Grove Hydraulic Crawler (GHC) crane for the North American market, the GHC140.
The model features a 52.1 m six-section boom, with a maximum capacity of 127 tonnes. When configured with a 15 m bi-fold swing away extension, it has a maximum tip height of 70 m.
The GHC140 can be transported to a jobsite in as little as four loads, said Manitowoc.
The crane can be outfitted with one of two engine options: a 173 hp Cummins QSB 4.5 L Tier 4 Final, or a 160 hp Tier 3 model. Both engines comply with the current US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
