April 8 - Mammoet has ordered 17 cranes from Kobelco, which will be officially handed over to the company at the bauma exhibition in Munich next week.
Mammoet will take delivery of 15 second generation cranes from Kobelco - including three 110-tonne capacity CKE1100-2 units, seven 150-tonne capacity CKE1350G-2 models and five 250-tonne capacity CKE2500G-2 units - as well as two first generation CKE2500G cranes, both with a lifting capacity of 250 tonnes.
The CKE2500G-2 has a maximum lifting capacity of 250 tonnes at 4.6 m. Its nested boom length spans from 15.2 m to 91.4 m, while its fixed jib offers a maximum lifting capacity of 27 tonnes.
Kobelco's second generation models are equipped with new engines in compliance with NRMM Europe Stage IV and US EPA Tier 4 Final regulations.
