January 21 - Kentucky, USA based crane manufacturer Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co, has named a new South American distributor - Peru based Montacargas Zapler S.R.L.
Link-Belt manufactures a range of rough terrain, telescopic truck, all terrain, lattice crawler, lattice truck and telescopic crawler cranes. Link-Belt's Latin American regional sales manager, Corey Rogers observed: "We are very excited about our new partnership with Zapler as our distributor for the country of Peru. Demand for cranes is steadily increasing all throughout Peru as a result of this booming economy".
The first Link-Belt crane sold by Montacargas Zapler was a new 65-tonne RTC-8065 Series to Sergear SAC. The rough terrain crane will be deployed on a copper mine expansion project, said Link-Belt.
