March 18 - Crane contractor Van Marwijk Kraanverhuur has used a Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1 mobile crane to hoist a large letter 'M' on to the top of a 132 m high residential building in the Netherlands.
The 8 m tall letter, which weighed 8 tonnes, was removed from the building in order to be renovated and freshly painted, before the LTM 11200-9.1 crane returned it to the top of the building.
For this job, the Liebherr crane was equipped with a 52.2 m telescopic boom, Y-guying and a 108 m luffing lattice jib.
