Portugal’s Laso Transportes recently acquired two MultiMAX semi-trailers from Faymonville to assist in the transport of railway equipment.
The trailers feature incorporated rail guides in the loading platform and six steerable cranked axles, allowing for a reduced loading height of 740 mm.
Both vehicles come with a powerful hydraulic winch and specialised accordion ramps for a smooth loading and offloading process. The MultiMAX’s can be used for numerous other transport tasks, such as handling wind tower sections.
Laso has also taken delivery of three quadruple-extendable WingMAX flatbeds to transport the latest generations of wind blades. The trailers have an extended length of 70 m, pendle-axles and a hydraulic gooseneck to facilitate blade transport in tight areas.
