Pacific Logistic has ordered a second eco-efficient Gottwald Model 3 portal harbor crane for its Sollers terminal in Vladivostok, Russia.
The crane, which will be delivered in Autumn 2020, will be used to handle containers loaded predominantly with automotive parts, and general cargoes.
Secondly, Konecranes secured a contract from the US Navy to deliver a 175-ton (158.8-tonne) lifting capacity portal jib crane to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Washington State, USA.
The USD46 million order was booked in December and contains options for six additional units over the next seven years. If realised, the total value of the agreement would be around USD330 million.
