April 25 - German crane rental company Kawelke Kran has purchased a Demag AC 130-5 all terrain crane, featuring the IC-1 Plus control system.
The 130-tonne capacity AC 130-5 has a total length of 14.45 m and a carrier width of 2.75 m, which makes its the most compact crane in its capacity class, claims Terex.
Jürgen Kawelke, general manager at Kawelke Kran, explained that the IC-1 Plus control system makes it possible to get the maximum available lifting capacity, even when using asymmetrical or small outrigger set ups.
