Impact monitoring equipment manufacturer SpotSee has enhanced its ShockLog product line by integrating satellite connectivity as a new feature.
ShockLogs are used in the power, energy, industrial and medical industries to monitor impact, temperature, humidity, tilt, roll and pressure applied to products during transportation, said SpotSee.
The recently launched ShockLog Satellite allows users to monitor these parameters in real time from the SpotSee Cloud via a smartphone or computer.
“Adding satellite connectivity to ShockLog was a great next step for us to ensure our customers always have the connectivity they need,” said Angela Kerr, vice president, product portfolio, SpotSee. “The increase in connectivity options allows them to monitor products being transported through the most remote locations where cellular connectivity isn’t available.”
