On its first mission, Henneberger’s new LTM 1300-6.3 installed a transformer station in a solar park in Eisenach.

Liebherr’s LTM 1300-6.3 crane has a 300-tonne lifting capacity and a telescopic boom of 90 m, with it already being used at a project in Eisenach, Thuringia. Its boom makes it the longest of any mobile crane that can be transported on public roads with a 12-tonne axle load, lending it to work on erecting tower cranes, electricity pylons, and wind turbine maintenance work, said Liebherr.

“It saves additional transport and time, since in many situations we can dispense with the attachment of jibs,” said Mario Henneberger, the second-generation owner of the family-run company. “On the construction site, it can be implemented with very little setup work, which also saves time and money.”

“In our region, we are seeing demand for more lifting capacity and lifting height. The Liebherr 300-tonner is a multi-function crane with a very long boom that we are able to use with flexibility for all manner of scenarios on the market,” added Henneberger. “In our local glass and bottle production industry in particular, the new crane allows us to achieve large radii beyond buildings and reach tremendous heights on the chimneys.”
