Friendly Logistic has acquired a self-steering FlexMAX tower adapter trailer from Faymonville.
Friendly Logistic is a key partner in developing Ukraine’s wind energy market. The 4+7 self-steering FlexMAX tower adapter trailer with hydraulic suspension ensures the safe and efficient transport of all types of steel tower segments up to 100 tonnes.
The trailer can accommodate tower sections with internal diameters of up to 6,300 mm. Additionally, nacelles and hybrid steel tower sections can be loaded without extra adapters. Faymonville added that the vertical adapter stroke of 1,800 mm does not only allow the autonomous loading and offloading of the sections, but also facilitates passing over high obstacles along the route, such as roundabouts, crash barriers or road boundaries.
