Switzerland’s Feldmann Pneukran und Transport has expanded its fleet with the acquisition of five Liebherr mobile cranes.
As part of its replacement purchase strategy, Feldmann has invested in an LTC 1050-3.1 crane, which boasts a lifting capacity of 50 tonnes; a 100-tonne capacity LTM 1100-2.1 telescopic mobile crane; a 250-tonne capacity LTM 1250-5.1; a 450-tonne capacity LTM 1450-8.1; and an MK 88 mobile construction crane.
Heinrich Kistler, cranes department manager at Feldmann, said: “Ease of use is very important to us but we have also been won over by Liebherr’s new technologies such as VarioBase and VarioBallast. This means that the cranes can be used for jobs which were previously only possible with larger machines.”
