UK-based Durham Lifting has added the Multisec Multi-Point 34T heavy lifting beam to its hire fleet.

The beam has a lifting capacity of 34 tonnes and a span of 10.5 m, with versatility and reliability making the product ideally suited for applications across industries such as construction, manufacturing, and offshore work, it said.

“The Multi-Point 34T beam is built to handle demanding conditions while offering the flexibility required for different lifting configurations,” said Wan Djawad, technical director at Durham Lifting, who joined the company more than four years ago. “Whether it’s lifting large, irregular loads or ensuring weight is evenly distributed across multiple points, this beam provides the reliability our customers expect.”

Capable of maintaining full load capacity regardless of its sling-to-vertical angles, the Multi-Point 34T beam also has ISO 1328-compliant forklift pockets which makes transportation and positioning on-site simple and efficient.

To ensure of strength and reliability, the products undergo scrutinous proof load testing at Durham Lifting’s Britannia Test House facility in Middlesbrough, UK.

Designed with 150 mm lug spacing on heavy-duty beams and 250 mm on lighter models, the Multisec Multi-Point beams are evenly distributed, which reduces strain on lifting equipment and improves general operational efficiency.

The new addition is available for hire, with Durham Lifting and Multisec also able to manufacture further models from the Multisec Multi-Point range to meet specific project requirements.

In January 2024, Durham Lifting changed ownership.
