April 25 - Conquest Offshore's heavy lift crane barge Conquest MB I has been deployed in the quay of Heerema, Flushing, the Netherlands.
The 1,500 tonne offshore barge has dimensions of 136 m x 36 m x 8 m and a total free deck space for cargo of 3,700 sq m. The crane barge has a number of time saving characteristics, for example, when changing from 400 tonnes, 800 tonne or 1,600 tonne hook blocks there is no need to change wire, blocks or sheaves. The blocks also enable custom reeving for every project, and are able to generate lifting speeds of 1.5 m per second.
