Heavy-duty trailer manufacturer Broshuis has delivered nine of its modernised trailers to the Dutch armed forces.
Broshuis supplied the Dutch defence service with some of its original trailers 31 years ago. Although some of the old 280 kN trailers will remain in use, nine newer versions have been sourced: nine semi-low loaders feature a self-tracking axle, container positions, and detachable ramps.
Alongside the trailers, a two-axle pendle axle low loader with a 200 kN capacity was delivered. This features a detachable neck, detachable winch, as well as a low loading floor.
In September 2024, HLPFI reported that Pieter-Bas Broshuis was to step down as ceo of Broshuis International, effective January 1, 2025.
