USA-based crane rental and sales company Bigge Crane and Rigging has ordered 29 cranes from Liebherr, adding to its nearly 200 Liebherr cranes already in its fleet.

Bigge’s order comes in efforts to meet the growing demands across infrastructure, industrial, and heavy lift projects. All from Liebherr, the purchase includes 14 LR 1300.1 SX crawler cranes, eight LTR 1220 telescopic crawlers, four LR 1500 crawlers, two LR 1700 crawlers, and one LTM 1230 all-terrain crane.

“Investing in Liebherr cranes ensures our customers have access to the most advanced and reliable lifting solutions,” said Joe Nelms, chief revenue officer at Bigge. “Expanding our perfect fleet with these state-of-the-art models allows us to help customers maximise uptime, win more projects, and prepare for the construction industry’s anticipated growth and increasing demand for high-performance cranes.”

The new cranes are expected to be delivered through 2025 and 2026.

In October 2023, Bigge added its first electric crawler crane to its fleet – the Liebherr 1250.1 unplugged.
