March 28 - California, US headquartered Bigge Crane and Rigging has recently added over 100 new cranes to its rental fleet at a cost of USD60 million.
Bigge acquired nearly 40 new Terex rough-terrain (RT) cranes ranging from 45-110 ton (40.8 - 99.8 tonne) capacities. A number of Terex American HC275 crawler cranes - each with a lifting capacity of 275 tons (249.5 tonnes) - are also ready for deployment.
Bigge purchased six 300-ton (272.1-tonne) capacity Liebherr LR1300SX crawler cranes and three five-axle LTM1220 all-terrain cranes.
Bigge also added a number of Grove RT cranes to its fleet - including RT9150s, RT9130s and RT890Es. The RT9150 has one of the largest lift capacities of any RT crane in the world. Two further Grove six-axle GMK6350 all-terrain cranes, each with a 350 ton (317.5 tonne) capacity, have been added to the Bigge rental fleet.
