May 19 - In response to continuing activity, California based Bigge Crane and Rigging is adding to its crane rental fleet.
The company recently purchased a Liebherr LR1600/2 crawler, a 660 tonne crane optimised for wind turbine erection. Bigge states that it was among the first to operate the Liebherr crawler in the USA and has now added a second to its fleet. Both cranes are currently being rented at a major wind farm in the Midwest.
Bigge has also recently purchased another Manitowoc 16000, a 440 tonne capacity crawler and added four new Liebherr LTM-1220/5.2, 265 tonne class all terrain cranes to its fleet, fourteen new large rough terrains, including four new Grove RT9130's and ten new Link-Belt RTC8090 Series II, 90 tonne capacity cranes.
Bigge bare rents cranes coast-to-coast out of locations in six US states.
