July 26 - The management of Auto B
The new 100-tonne capacity crane will replace an existing LTM 1090/2 and brings Auto Böhler's crane fleet right up to date, and well matched to the needs of the market. The LTM 1100-4.2 was collected by Klaus Böhler and Kai Schwarz from the Liebherr plant at Ehingen, Austria.
Auto Böhler is based in Karlsruhe, and with six other branches currently employs a workforce of some 100 people, with a fleet of more than 70 vehicles. The company was established in 1919, and today is under the management of the third generation of the Böhler family.
The new LTM 1100-4.2 mobile crane will mainly be used in the company's crane hire sector. At present the company already has eight mobile cranes with load capacities of between 30 tonnes and 130 tonnes, all from the same manufacturer - Liebherr.
According to a company statement this helps Auto Böhler create greater transparency for its crane drivers, and even more confidence and safety in handling the machines, thanks to the control and operation of Liebherr mobile cranes being of the same de-sign format, from the smallest to the largest.
