Allelys has installed a bespoke inspection monitoring system designed by CoreRFID on its fleet of heavy haulage trailers.
The UK-headquartered heavy transport specialist is using the CoreRFID software to locate assets and determine their availability and operational status.
The radio frequency identification (RFID) solution is based on the CheckedOK system. It enables engineers working on site to record results on tablets, which can then be accessed immediately by the rest of the team.
Matt Cobain, engineering manager at Allelys, said: “The move to the new system enables us to take complete control and monitoring of our inspection processes. It improves our logistics and customer service and at the same time increases profitability through better efficiency.”
