August 6 - UK headquartered heavy lift specialist ALE has completed the load-out of nine suction anchors, each weighing 122 tonnes, in Ghana.
Each anchor was initially positioned between one 600-tonne capacity Demag crane and a second Kobelco crawler using eight axle lines of SPMTs. The anchors were then lifted and tilted by 90 degrees, before being slewed 180 degrees for load-out onto barges.
This project - the first completed by ALE in Ghana - was executed in collaboration with Jonmoore International.
