Sri Lanka-based Advantis Projects & Engineering has received seven Tata Signa 4018.S prime movers at its facility in Sedawatta.
Diesel & Motor Engineering (DIMO) – an authorised distributor for Tata Motors – delivered the trailers to Advantis Projects.
DIMO said that the vehicles, which are specially designed for inland logistics operations, offer a high power-to-weight ratio and a 40-ton (36.3 tonne) maximum permissible gross combined weight (GCW) when coupled with a suitable two-axle trailer.
Shadil Rizan, director and ceo of Advantis, said: “We chose Tata Signa 4018.S prime movers from DIMO because these vehicles are equipped with better GCW, faster on-road operations, with a spacious comfortable driver cabin with AC, and offer the lowest operating cost.
“Most importantly, they come with DIMO’s warranty with high resale value and an extensive after sales service network,” he added.
