June 5 - ABA Crane Hire has taken delivery of its first Terex crane - a 60-tonne capacity Challenger 3180 all terrain crane.
"The Challenger 3180 was our preferred choice for a number of reasons, but particularly for its compactness on three axles and for having the longest boom length in its class," commented Arnold Baggott, ABA Crane Hire's managing director.
With a 50 m main boom combined with a 16 m extension, the Terex Challenger 3180 provides the longest system length in the 60-tonne all terrain capacity class, claims the manufacturer.
