March 21 - Liebherr has delivered a LTM 1030-2.1 crane to Willfried Lehmann, managing shareholder and partner of Warnowkran Kranservice GmbH, Rostock, Germany.
The new crane is a replacement for a 20-year-old Liebherr LTM 1025 and was produced at the beginning of this year at the Liebherr plant in Ehingen.
The two-axle LTM 1030-2.1 , which was first presented by Liebherr in 1997 as the LTM 1030/2, was the first mobile crane in the world to be equipped with data bus transfer technology, claims Liebherr.
The four-part 30 m boom can be extended to many desired lengths due to the telescoping system. The 15 m swing-away jib allows the LTM 1030-2.1 to achieve heights under hook of up to 44 m and outreaches of as much as 40 m.
Established in 1995, Warnowkran's mobile crane fleet is made up exclusively of Liebherr machines.
Willfried Lehman said: "My drivers want Liebherr cranes. And the after-sales service from Liebherr is unequalled. The dialogue with Liebherr customer service works extremely well."
