Nicki Schumacher, former chief operating officer at Zeamarine, and Matthias Kremser, the carrier’s regional director for Europe, have joined German shipping company THB Transport- und Handelsberatungsgesellschaft.
Both Schumacher and Kremser now serve as chartering brokers at THB, as Zeamarine winds down its business.
As HLPFI reported in February, Zeamarine’s German booking and operating divisions – Zeamarine Bremen, Zeamarine Germany and Zeamarine Chartering – filed for insolvency at the Bremen District Court. Since then a number of Zeamarine offices around the world have been closed.
