Cory Brothers Shipping Agency and Vertom Agencies have completed their merger to become VertomCory.
The venture will be one of the largest shipping agencies in the European market providing ship agency, hub agency, freight forwarding and liner services across northwest European ports.
VertomCory will be focused on organic growth from all divisions, enhanced research and intelligence services and taking a significant acquisitional approach to boost its platform in both service and asset-based opportunities.
Peter Wilson from Cory Brothers, which was formerly owned by Braemar Shipping Services, said: “The businesses have worked in partnership for over a decade and the natural formalisation of Vertom and Cory brings together a significant leadership team of ‘out and out’ shipping professionals.
