Walter Van Mechelen is leaving Gosselin Group after nine years with the Antwerp-based company.
Van Mechelen was responsible for the operations of Gosselin Logistics before joining the executive board in September 2018. According to Marc Smet (ceo) and Dirk Vanhoutteghem (co-owner and director), van Mechelen’s role over the past year has focused on the representing the interests of Gosselin in various external associations.
Van Mechelen will also step down as Alfaport chairman. A successor will be chosen later this year.
