Unsworth has brought in three experienced professionals to lead the branch. Mark Cox – with more than 25 years of experience within the freight and logistics industry – will drive the commercial development of the branch; Joe Edwards joins as business development manager – bringing over six years of experience in a similar role; meanwhile Cesar Caicedo – boasting more than 25 years of experience in the logistics industry in shipping line and forwarder roles – has become procurement manager at the office.

The Liverpool office adds to Unsworth’s existing locations in London, Ipswich, and Heathrow. With its own hub there, the company’s expansion into Ireland has shored up its customs brokerage services.

“We’re excited to establish a stronger presence in Liverpool, a key location in the Northwest,” said Richard Hogg, the company’s chief executive officer. “This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to growth, improving our service delivery, and supporting our customers with tailored solutions.”
