United Shipping Group has appointed Andreas Rolner, Anthony Perez and Philipp Mehringer to lead its newly launched United Heavy Transport division.
As HLPFI reported here, United Heavy Transport will be responsible for the Hua Yang Long, Hua Hai Long, Hua Xing Long and Hua Sheng Long semi-submersible vessels.
The company will operate out of United Shipping Group’s headquarters in Hamburg and an office in Houston, Texas, which opened on May 1.
Andreas Rolner, managing director of United Heavy Lift (UHL), will lead the Hamburg operations, along with a dedicated project team. Philipp Mehringer, previously general manager business development – projects at UHL, will be responsible for the business development of United Heavy Transport.
Anthony Perez has joined United Heavy Transport from Boskalis, where he served as business development manager. He will lead the operation in Houston as the regional director of the Americas.
