July 22 - Taiwanese crane contractor Chi Deh has added two new Liebherr LTM 1300-6.2 mobile cranes to its fleet.
Chi Deh will replace two old LTM 1300-6.1 machines with the new six-axle cranes, each of which have a capacity of 300 tonnes and a maximum hoisting height of 114 m.
Company owner Han-Yen Hu commented on the acquisition: "We decided on the LTM 1300-6.2 as a result of its high quality, modern technology and flexible boom systems. The telescopic boom is very long at 78 m. With its luffing jib, which is up to 70 m in length, the mobile crane can cover a massive working range."
Chi Deh has around 40 cranes in its fleet - the largest of which is a Liebherr LTM 11200-9.1. It uses the machines on a variety of job sites across Taiwan, including power plants, chemical refineries, and construction sites.
