Shipping solution provider StormGeo has opened an office in Copenhagen, Denmark, to better support shipping companies in the region.
Kim Sørensen, chief operating officer of StormGeo’s shipping division, said that the company is experiencing growing demand in Denmark for its integrated shipping solutions such as s-suite. The software – which HLPFI reported on here – integrates voyage planning, route optimisation, route advisory, and fleet performance management.
Carsten Mortensen, chairman of the board, said: “Danish shipping companies are usually very technology driven and put a lot of resources into processes and systems to reduce bunker consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
“StormGeo is well suited to solve these challenges, in addition of course to safeguarding the crew, ship and cargo,” he added.
